FAQs

Independent Surveys & Water Leak Detection Service

+ Do you offer ‘no find - no fee’ leak detection?

We do not offer free leak detection, but we offer the first visit at a nominal price and if we are commissioned to carry out any of our services your initial payment will be deducted from your final invoice.

+ What tools do you use to find leaks?

We use the manufacturers latest technology on all of our projects.

+ Will the survey cause any damage?

Our surveys don’t cause any damage to waterproofing systems because our technologies are all non-invasive. Our team are fully trained and all testing equipment is calibrated correctly before each test.

+ How long does a survey take?

This will depend on the size of the project. Roofs with excessive ventilation ducts could take a little longer.

+ Will it take more than one visit?

Our surveys need to be done only once. However, if you request remedial works, we will arrange a second visit to confirm remedial works are completed and verified.

+ Will you repair my leak and water damage?

Yes. EuroLDs Real-time Report + Repair Management service includes repairing the leaks, any water damage and conducting a retest after the remedial work has been conducted to ensure the structure is leak-free.

+ How much does it cost?

All prices vary depending on project size and access to testing areas. Please contact us with your enquiry.

+ Can you help with making an insurance claim?

Yes. We can carry out a survey and compile a Comprehensive Report for your insurance company.

+ Is there anything else to keep in mind?

We request that you ensure all roof areas are accessible and clear for our surveyors to be able to do the tests.

+ What if I need to cancel a roof inspection or survey?

Any cancellation must be notified 48 hours prior to any survey being carried out. Charges may apply if no notification is given. Please use our contact form to notify us.

+ Can you run a survey in wet weather conditions?

Certain tests require dry weather conditions. We will arrange an alternative date if we consider that the weather conditions may affect the test equipment. Electronic Field Vector Mapping tests are designed to be carried out in wet conditions.
